What is Channel 7Channel 7 is a video production club formed in 1989 to promote video making skills to the community. Since then the club has grown in size and strength with a continuous improvement in production quality.
Primarily Channel 7 is a youth based organisation using many children and young people for roles both on and off screen, however the club caters for all ages. All Channel 7 sessions are run by CRB checked members.
The Main difference about Channel 7 is that it is not run like many traditional video making clubs. Each member is assigned a role(s) and works together in a team, rather than on individual projects, much like the film industry.
Channel 7 is based in St. Neots, Cambridgeshire, UK and draws its members from many surrounding towns and villages. Members are encouraged to participate in all areas of film production both on and off screen. While with Channel 7 members learn to appreciate the benefits of team building, gain self confidence and learn about film and video making in a fun, family atmosphere.
